What Is Ideal Beach Resort?
A private beach on Bear Lake's south end
Ideal Beach is a private resort on the south end of Bear Lake. The main draw is private beach access — and since the resort limits how many guests can enter, it stays noticeably quieter than the public beaches, which fill up fast all summer.

Getting There
How far is the resort from your rental?
We don't rent the condos on Ideal Beach's property, but our vacation homes include resort access and give you far more space for a group. All of them sit on Sweetwater Hill, just across Bear Lake Boulevard and up the hill. It's a short drive, not a walk.

Getting into the resort
Each home has at least one key card near the entrance. Take it to Ideal Beach and swipe at the gate. If your group has multiple vehicles, you can swipe the same card more than once to get everyone through.
Return the key card to its designated spot in good condition to avoid additional fees.
A note from Ideal Beach management: please don't park in front of the condos inside the resort. Those spaces are reserved for condo guests and owners.
